Adding notes

Add internal notes to orders, products, deliveries and more.

Notes let you add internal comments to almost any item in ShopLinkr. They are handy for sharing information with colleagues or jotting something down for yourself.

Where can you add notes?

A comment about special packaging or an arrangement with the customer

A note about quality issues or an upcoming change

A comment about a partial delivery or contact information

A note about the condition of the returned product

A comment about the layout or a temporary change

An instruction for the warehouse employee

Stock counts

A comment about a discrepancy

Contact arrangements or payment terms

Adding a note

  1. Open the item you want to add a note to (an order, for example).

  2. Go to the notes section.

  3. Type your note and click Add note.

The note is automatically linked to your account and the time at which you posted it.

Editing and deleting notes

You can edit or delete notes you posted earlier. Please note: a deleted note is gone for good and cannot be restored.

Automatic notes

In some cases ShopLinkr adds notes automatically. For example, when an order is resumed after a postponement period. The note then states the reason for the postponement and the period.
