Stock notifications

Automatically receive an email when a product drops below a set stock threshold.

With ShopLinkr you can automatically receive an email as soon as the stock of a product drops below a set threshold. That way you are always notified in time and you avoid having to sell out of stock.

How does it work?

You set a minimum stock level at the company level. As soon as a product falls below that quantity, you automatically receive a notification by email. You decide for yourself whether you want to receive that notification right away, or once a day as a summary.

Notification frequency

When setting up stock notifications, you can choose between two options:

  • Instant notification: you receive an email immediately as soon as a product drops below the set stock threshold.

  • Daily summary: every morning at 08:00 you receive a summary of all products whose stock has reached the lower limit.

Setting it up at the company level

  1. Go to Settings > My company.

  2. Go to Stock notifications.

  3. Set the default minimum stock and choose the notification frequency you want (instant or daily).

These settings apply to all products, unless you override them per product.

Adjusting per product

Do you want to use a different stock threshold or notification frequency for a specific product? You can. Go to the product, click Edit and adjust the stock notification settings. These override the general company settings for this product only.

Why use stock notifications?

  • Avoid selling out of stock: you know exactly when a product is almost gone, so you can step in on time.

  • Reorder from your supplier on time: you get an automatic heads-up as soon as reordering is needed.

  • Save time: no more manual checklists needed. Everything is tracked and reported automatically.
