Merging backorders with open orders
With automatic merging, ShopLinkr could already merge orders going to the same address. This new option lets you decide more precisely how ShopLinkr handles backorders within that process.
With the option switched off, backorders stay separate from normal open orders. Orders that can be shipped in full can therefore be processed as usual and do not wait for products that are not in stock yet. Backorders can still be merged with other backorders.
With the option switched on, backorders may be merged with open orders going to the same address. As a result an order that could be shipped in full may wait until the backorder can be shipped too, because the merged order can only be processed once all products are available.
For existing companies the current behaviour is kept and this option is on by default.
