Setting up AutoPrint

Print shipping labels automatically as soon as you process an order.

With AutoPrint, shipping labels are printed automatically as soon as you process an order. To make this work, we use PrintNode, a software tool that you install on the computer in your warehouse. PrintNode sends the labels straight from ShopLinkr to your printer, without any extra manual steps.

Activating PrintNode

PrintNode is included as standard with every subscription, at no extra cost. Especially from around 20 orders a day, it saves you a lot of time.

  1. Go to Settings > Subscription.

  2. Click the green button next to PrintNode.

  3. A PrintNode account is created for you automatically. You will receive an email with your login details.

Installing PrintNode

ShopLinkr works with its own version of PrintNode. Install PrintNode on every computer that is connected to a printer by cable or Bluetooth. Do you have a network printer? Then it is enough to install PrintNode on one computer in your network.

To download the software:

  1. Log in to printnode.com with the login details you received by email.

  2. Download the ShopLinkr AutoPrint version from there.

  3. Follow the installation steps.

Please note: if you install PrintNode on a Windows device, you will get the option to install PrintNode as a Windows Service. Do not choose this option.

Once the program is installed, log in with the same login details. PrintNode then runs in the background.

Connecting printers

After installing PrintNode, your printers appear in ShopLinkr automatically. Go to Settings > Printers to check whether your printers are visible. From there you can connect them to a packing station. See Setting up packing stations for more information.
